Comprehensive Care
Patients at Women’s Healthcare of Woburn receive treatment for many benign gynecological conditions, including Abnormal Uterine Bleeding, Endometriosis, Pelvic Pain, and Uterine Fibroids. The women’s health clinic also offers a full range of gynecologic care, including annual gynecologic exams, pap tests, STI testing, in-office phlebotomy, contraception of all types including IUDs, infertility evaluations, menopause treatment, comprehensive breast health, sexual dysfunction, and evaluation of pelvic floor issues.

Gynecologic exams are an important aspect of women’s preventative healthcare. This annual exam assesses a woman’s overall health and wellbeing, addresses patient questions & concerns, and includes cancer screenings, any necessary lab work, and pelvic and breast exams.

Unusually heavy bleeding, bleeding between periods and/or after sex can be signs of other health concerns.

If you suffer from chronic or severe symptoms of endometriosis, such as painful, heavy periods, infertility, or pain with intercourse, an endometriosis resection is often recommended to remove endometrial implants. Endometriosis resection is usually recommended for women who want to get pregnant in the future, as this procedure leaves the uterus and other organs in place.
