Meet Dr. Chun
Dr. Byungyol (Bill) Chun is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist doctor in Woburn, MA, with over thirty years of experience in medicine. He currently treats patients at his practice, Women’s Healthcare of Woburn, affiliated with Winchester Hospital. He has worked in communities north of Boston for over twenty-five years and is a leading provider of minimally-invasive robotic surgery in New England.
Dr. Chun’s years of experience as a physician, advisor, coach, and caregiver to women have given him unique insight into the challenges women face. He is passionate about helping people live better lives through better health. Along with his work in Woburn and at Winchester Hospital, Dr. Chun is the Founder of Doc & Doula, an organization dedicated to improving outcomes for all birthing people by educating women on crucial health matters. He also spearheads Doulas for Everyone, a platform that connects lower-income people with doula services. He is active on social media and strives to use all possible means of communication to help each woman become her own best health advocate.
A published author, Dr. Chun’s book, Don’t Give a Damn: How to Cope With the Fears, Challenges, and Frustrations of Daily Life, explores the philosophy that has helped him achieve his own personal life balance. He is currently working on a new book that will focus on helping people dismantle their roadblocks to happiness.
Dr. Chun is a graduate of the Ohio State University of Medicine and a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
